Job Purpose: The Technical & Compliance Engineer will enhance technical expertise within multi-site R&D environments, ensuring the reliability and compliance of facilities. The role will involve working across three locations, overseeing engineering compliance, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and supporting audits and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities: Integrate engineering support across multiple R&D locations to maximize facility uptime. Maintain strong knowledge of UK statutory compliance, including PSSR, LOLER, F-gas, Legionella, electrical safety, and asbestos management. Support root cause analysis for engineering issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Assist in completing site gap analyses against client standards and ensure compliance in areas identified. Participate in audit preparedness and assist in fronting internal and external audits. Support the identification and execution of capital and minor projects across the three sites. Ensure smooth project delivery and handover in collaboration with service provider project management teams. Contribute to infrastructure lifecycle asset management and identify sustainability initiatives. Familiarize with client systems for document management, maintenance, and EHS reporting. Assist in management monitoring activities as per the company's schedule. Co-author and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for engineering processes. Qualifications and Skills Essential: Degree in an Engineering discipline. Strong willingness to learn and grow engineering competencies. Experience in Research & Development processes in GxP/regulated facilities. Preferred: More than five years of professional experience in managing complex facilities, especially in GxP environments. Prior experience in engineering or facilities project management. Strong adaptability to address multidisciplinary engineering matters. Prior electrical experience preferred. Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis tools such as 5 Why’s and Fishbones
