A Postdoctoral Research Associate position in “organic synthesis and catalysis” is available in the group of Professor John Bower. You should have a PhD in organic chemistry and previous postdoctoral experience. You should have high level skills in the following areas: transition metal catalysis mediated by iridium complexes, including asymmetric catalysis, the development of atom economical methodology, the development of enantioselective C-H functionalisation reactions. You should have a strong publication record, including, for example, publications in J. Am. Chem. Soc. The start date is from 1st of February 2025 and is available for 12 months.
