Job summary We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Theatre Assistant to join our Ophthalmology Department. Main duties of the job You will provide support and assistance within the operating department teams. You will contribute to the support and care of patients under the direction of registered members of the clinical team. It is a direct patient focus role, where you will collect patients for theatre and assist the registered staff to prepare the patient for their surgery. You will support in theatre to providing care to patients and support the scrub practitioner to have the necessary equipment need for surgery.
