The roles will report to a First Line Manager and will require flexibility in approach to shift patterns to meet operational requirements. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.47 and overtime rates also apply; however, overtime is not guaranteed. The Role To undertake the day to day functions within the warehouse ensuring all targets are met and the highest standards of quality, accuracy & hygiene are maintained to ensure all management and customer expectations are achieved Ensure the operation meets all requirements by completing each function to the highest quality standards To be responsible for the health and safety of self and your colleagues by ensuring all tasks are carried out to the relevant procedures and by adhering to safe working practices always Ensure a high level of communication between colleagues and management is maintained and information flow is of the highest standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn where appropriate, always Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses to a First Line Manager immediately Ensure that a high level of housekeeping and hygiene is maintained in all areas always Ensure all equipment checks are completed correctly and on time Ensure that all damage to stock or equipment (including racking) is reported following set procedures Ensure all tasks are completed within Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. (i.e. Accuracy, productivity, quality) Any other reasonable request within the scope of the position Shift Patterns Available Permanent Contract Rotating days and afters, Sunday to Thursday, days 06:00 – 14:00 and afters 14:00 – 22:00 - 5 x 8-hour shifts Fixed cross shift, Sunday – Thursday 10:00 – 18:00 - 5 x 8-hour shifts Fixed afters, Sunday – Thursday 14:00 – 22:00 - 5 x 8-hour shifts Fixed days, Sunday – Thursday 10:00 – 14:00 – 5 x 4-hour shifts Fixed cross shift, Sunday – Thursday 14:00 – 18:00 – 5 x 4-hour shifts Fixed afters, Sunday – Thursday 18:00 – 22:00 – 5 x 4-hour shifts The Person Must be numerate, literate and be able to understand accuracy demands Ability to undertake all training offered to become multi-skilled, this will include training on Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) Have the ability to operate within a fast-moving warehouse environment Motivated to work and on own initiative A good communicator and able to develop good working relationships at all levels Ability to work to the highest standards of Health and Safety Ensure attendance and timekeeping levels are maintained to fulfil contract of employment Must have a positive and customer focused attitude with a keen and enthusiastic approach We really value our people and offer a friendly working environment, a focus on developing your skills and a competitive salary.
