About Admiral Money
We are an exciting, new division of Admiral Group. We have the freedom and innovation of a small start up with the security of a large parent company, Admiral.
The journey started when we launched unsecured personal loans in June. We went on to be the first direct to consumer car finance provider in December. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength and have some exciting plans for the future.
We’re looking for people who are keen to learn, excited about getting stuck in and are ready for a challenge to help us to achieve our aim of creating a specialist lending business for our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Ensuring SLAs are met and where possible, exceeded for our intermediaries and customers
2. Demonstrating an understanding of our Credit Policies, lending rules and appetite
3. Demonstrating an excellent knowledge of the Second Charges Market and Specialist Lending Market
4. As a mandate holder, interpreting the spirit of the FCA rulebook and demonstrating the desired outcomes
5. Ensuring all information for customers and creditors is correct, ensuring good outcomes for AFSL and the consumer
6. Communicating with external and internal customers to the highest standard
7. Ensuring loans are underwritten within mandate and are of the highest quality
About You
8. CEMAP qualified
9. Previous working experience in a regulated (preferably specialist) lending environment
10. Comfortable working to targets/deadlines
11. Analytical and comfortable in taking decisions and committing to action
12. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
13. Excellent analytical skills
14. Team player
Please note: this is a hybrid role based in our Cardiff office twice a week.
