Job Description Summary:
CFA Institute are seeking a dynamic Contracts Manager to join our Source to Pay (S2P) team and lead our global contracting process. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee high-impact, international contracts, work with cross-functional teams, and drive key initiatives for CFA Institute.
This role offers the opportunity to be at the heart of our contract management operations, contributing to projects that span across borders. Job Description:
What You'll Do:
1. Be the go-to person for all 3rd Party Vendor Contract requests.
2. Draft, edit, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, ensuring the best outcomes for the organization.
3. Lead and provide oversight to a contract management team, ensuring seamless contract performance and smooth close-out procedures.
4. Serve as the primary administrator of our contract management system, managing user access, troubleshooting issues, and developing policies.
5. Provide training and support to colleagues on contracting principles and system use.
6. Manage the contract management system, streamlining processes and creating user-friendly workflows.
7. Develop dashboards, track compliance, and deliver key reports on contracting performance and initiatives.
What You’ll Bring:
1. Proven experience in contract end-to-end management, legal, or procurement, with a global perspective.
2. Experience with contract management systems and advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
3. Ability to manage multiple contracts across various regions, staying organized and focused under tight deadlines.
4. Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to navigate complex service agreements and vendor contracts.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills—whether you're working with attorneys, sourcers, or internal clients, you'll bring a client-first approach.
6. In-depth knowledge of commercial contract language, legal terms, and contracting principles.
7. Ability to collaborate and support stakeholders at all levels.
8. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management.
9. Change management or transformation (bringing in new ideas and fresh perspectives).
10. Enthusiasm and energy.
11. Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills, particularly Mandarin, are a major plus.
CFA Institute salary ranges will vary by geographical location. This role is being posted internationally and does not have to be performed in New York City or Washington DC. In compliance with the New York City and Washington DC salary disclosure law, the anticipated base salary range for this role will be $109,800 - $183,000. Salaries are determined based on the candidate's relevant experience and skills, as well as internal equity.
