Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer Position
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Langham Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the design and development of next-generation high-speed digital systems and communication transceivers.
The role involves designing and developing high-performance digital circuits with advanced signal integrity, power distribution, and FPGA integration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams on PCB design, signal simulation, and hardware prototyping to ensure the successful development of cutting-edge systems.
To succeed in this position, you will need a strong background in high-speed digital circuit design, including signal integrity, power management, and PCB layout. Proficiency in FPGA design and verification using VHDL/Verilog is also essential, as well as familiarity with high-speed communication protocols such as DDR, PCIe, or SERDES. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team-based environment, are also key requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop high-speed digital circuits ensuring optimal signal integrity and performance.
2. Lead the PCB design and layout process, optimising power distribution and meeting high-speed design requirements.
3. Contribute to FPGA design and verification using VHDL/Verilog, working closely with software and hardware teams to meet project specifications.
4. Conduct simulations and validation of designs to ensure their reliability in real-world applications.
5. Support the full product lifecycle from prototyping and design to integration and production.
What We're Looking For:

* Experience with design tools such as Cadence Allegro or Mentor Graphics.
