We are recruiting for an Aviation Company seeking a Sales and Procurement Manager based in Liskeard. This key role will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory, and supply chain activities across multiple sites, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team across all sites, fostering teamwork and effective communication.
* Oversee procurement processes and sales of parts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with relevant aviation standards.
* Serve as the main point of contact for all stores, logistics, and procurement-related inquiries.
* Organise training for stores personnel in regulatory compliance and documentation.
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and logistical support companies to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain stock levels of essential aircraft spares and ensure timely delivery.
* Ensure calibration of tools and equipment is carried out and documented on time.
* Assist with facilities management and maintenance of buildings, ensuring appropriate records.
* Ensure efficiency in logistics operations, including customs clearance, transport, and goods receipt/dispatch.
* Build and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers and customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Strong demand planning, analytical, and supply management skills.
* Experience in inventory control and procurement.
* Familiarity with aviation supply chain management is advantageous.
* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel to multiple sites across the UK as required.
