We are currently recruiting for a new staff member to join the transactions team at Merseyside Police. Job Purpose To ensure the effective and efficient administration and enforcement of all licensing applications within the force. Knowledge & Experience Educated to level 3 of the Qualifications & Credit Framework (QCF) equivalent and / or significant experience of working in an administrative / enforcement role. A comprehensive knowledge of licensing laws and procedures to undertake enquiries and make recommendations/representations regarding applications. High standard of interview skills to establish suitability of applicants. Planning and organising skills to effectively manage the workload. Effective communication skills, both oral and written to deal with enquiries from staff and officers and write reports. Proficient in the use of force systems or a commitment to undertake training to complete administrative functions of the role.
