I am recruiting for an Operations Manager for one small family ran care home in Gloucester.
This is a part time role – 3 days a week.
Accepting Registered Managers looking to take a step up.
Key Responsibilities of an Operations Manager:
1. Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the home.
2. Ensure that the home is run in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as all relevant legislation and regulations.
3. Foster a culture of innovation, community, and wellness within each home, promoting these values in all aspects of care and support.
4. Work closely with home management team to develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care.
5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of each home, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Both operationally and financially.
6. Play a key role in creating a supportive and inclusive working environment for all staff, promoting the values of the company and working to improve the working culture of the care home sector.
7. Develop and manage budgets for the home, ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently.
8. Ensure that each home is well-maintained and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
Operations Manager Requirements:
9. Previous successful home management and supervisory experience.
10. Previous experience working within a social care environment.
11. Experience within Area, Regional or Multisite Management.
12. Knowledge of CQC, increasing occupancy, reducing agency.
