Maths at Bromley High School
Mathematics is a very popular subject across the school, particularly at A Level. Students study the new A Level specification which has the common syllabus incorporating both Pure Mathematics and its applications in Statistics and Mechanics. We also offer the full Further Mathematics A Level course, with modules including Further Pure Mathematics, Further Statistics and Decision Mathematics.
Over the past few years, we have run various clubs, competitions, masterclasses, treasure hunts and maths trails. Year 10 and Year 12 have been taken to stimulating and entertaining lectures in London. We also run weekly clinics and extra lessons for Oxbridge.
