Job Profile: Senior Project Manager/ Project Director – Civils and Structural Package (Data Centre) Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the civils and structural package of a high-profile data centre project in the UK. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Manage and coordinate all civil and structural activities, ensuring seamless integration with other project disciplines. Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans. Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attending regular client meetings to provide updates and address concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. Prepare and deliver progress reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics to stakeholders and clients. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution. Implement strategies to manage scope changes and minimize impact on timelines and budgets. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, promoting collaboration and high performance. Ensure clear communication and alignment across all project stakeholders. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management, with significant experience in civil and structural packages for data centres or similar complex infrastructure projects. Skills: Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver detailed progress reporting. Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Proficiency in MS Office and Programming tools such as Asta Powerproject of P6 Knowledge: Familiarity with UK construction standards, health and safety regulations, and data centre / civil specifications. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
