Our client, a large Freight Forwarder, is looking for a dynamic Cargo Telesales Executive to work from their London Heathrow branch. The ideal candidate will be able to apply their strong sales and logistics background to generate and secure new business. This sales role is key to developing a pipeline of new business within Air, Ocean, and Road (biased towards Air Freight).
Job Duties of a Internal Cargo Telesales Executive:
1. Support and assist with driving account acquisition and generating new leads.
2. Engage with the client's internal network to assist with sales development.
3. Most of the business generated will be from telesales, and you will be provided with a large leads list on day 1.
4. Develop and manage an individual sales pipeline with a focus on Air and Ocean Freight business.
5. Book and possibly attend meetings with the support of sales managers.
6. Actively engage customers with consultative sales techniques to provide mutually beneficial and positive customer experiences.
Candidate Expectations:
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience within Freight Forwarding, preferably from an Air & Sea freight background.
2. Must be enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and looking to develop career progression.
3. Proven track record in B2B sales.
4. Experience of working to achieve individual targets and generating own sales leads.
5. Extensive knowledge of Air and Sea Logistics.
6. Computer literate.
More Details:
1. Salary: £28,000 - £35,000
2. Commission incentive on top of the basic salary of up to 20%.
3. Shift & Hours: Monday - Friday - 09:00 - 17:30.
