Description:
A new role has arisen with one of our Colnbrook clients for an Art Work Customer Service Coordinator, to support the expanding high-value works of Art section Department.
Role will involve:
1. General administration of the Art work Section
2. Data Entry in NetFreight operational system
3. Assisting in customs documentation (export & import)
4. Development of Knowledge Air, Sea & Road Freight markets and procedures
5. Airline bookings preparation of export documentation
6. Handling of original documents such as licences, ATA Carnets, CITIES
7. Liaising with the Transport Department to book collections, deliveries & airport transfers
8. Occasional trips to Heathrow area airline handling sheds, HMRC / Border Force offices and other on-airport activities during business hours as required
Requirements:
Our client is looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of Air Import Operational procedures. Import Road & Sea freight knowledge would be desirable, and Export knowledge would be an advantage. Some Air Freight Export knowledge together with handling International movements for Exhibitions would also be beneficial. The ideal candidate should have 1 or 2 years of experience in the import/export department, and Fine Art shipments knowledge would be an advantage.
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 0900am - 1730pm
Salary: £32K-£35K subject to experience
