We have an exciting opportunity for an Energy Coordinator to oversee our Energy Centre and support our facilities legal compliance operation. This role will support, implement, and maintain safety practices as required through Weetabix standards and will be responsible for completing job duties in a manner that supports all plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental practices.
The successful candidate will:
1. Utilise energy/system data to make recommendations and decisions and display excellent organisational, communication, and influencing skills
2. Oversee the day-to-day Burton Latimer Energy Centre and CHP operation, this includes supporting our Corby Boiler House operation alongside the Corby Engineering Teams
3. Ensure associated Energy Centre and CHP routine testing is completed to satisfy both Legal obligations and Standard compliance
4. Support other key Asset compliance activities associated outside of the CHP operation with PSSR, PUWER & LOLER
5. Provide support for our Sustainability & Environmental activity programme Carbon Management, Trade Effluent Compliance
6. Complete level 1/2/3 safety audits for the Energy Centre
7. Liaise with contractors for routine and ad hoc work required for the Energy Centre and other services such as Compressors and Insurance inspections
8. Manage repairs and maintenance for the Energy Centre via Weetabix CMMS system (Mainsaver)
9. Provide occasional call out and weekend cover
10. Help to create and drive Energy saving initiatives alongside Energy Systems Manager
11. Manage Energy Metering Devices across the estate and report data for both internal and external auditing purposes
Requirements

Non-negotiables:
12. Engineering Qualification of kind – HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical/Energy
13. BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) qualified
14. Boiler house and CHP operational experience
15. General Experience and Knowledge of Asset compliance for multiple functions
We also ask that you have;
16. Alignment to Weetabix values

18. Ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise.
Nice to haves:
19. A good understanding of Health and Safety procedures – Ideally IOSH/NEBOSH Certification
