The Offer As a Team Leader based at Homemead Care Home in Teddington, Central and Cecil, you will be supported by the Home Manager, you will take the lead in supervising a dedicated team of caring professionals, working with them to ensure standards of care are maintained at the highest level and that each resident’s individual needs are met. This would be a perfect opportunity for you if you are already working in a senior care role, or you are looking to take the next step into a role with more responsibility and greater autonomy. You'll have previous experience of providing personal and social care to older people in a residential setting, you'll hold at least a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care, working towards a Level 3 and be able to demonstrate post qualification learning and development. We have Day and Night Team Leader roles available and shifts last for 12 hours and 20 minutes three days per week, additional shifts are available. We can offer flexible lengths of shift to accommodate yours and the home’s needs, for example covering our busiest times. About you You'll be an excellent communicator who understands the level of care needed by people with dementia, you will also have a good knowledge of the CQC standards for care homes and extensive experience of leading and working within a team.
