A market-leading Specialist Insurance Company are looking to recruit a Compliance Consultant to support the Head of Risk and Compliance in ensuring that business processes, transactions, and corporate governance adhere to all relevant regulatory, legal, and internal guidelines.
Role and responsibilities
1. Maintain regulatory policies, procedures and processes to ensure they support the business in satisfying regulatory requirements and reflect operations appropriately.
2. Maintain a compliance culture within the business providing sound compliance advice to business stakeholders.
3. Develop training materials on a range of compliance topics. Delivery of regulatory training to the business ensuring awareness of relevant legislation and practices.
4. Monitor business performance on the identification, notification and handling of potential breaches, considering if external regulatory breaches may have occurred. Ensure all breaches are being handled in accordance with internal SLAs and tracking remedial action through to completion.
5. Assist with handling of complaints received by the business in accordance with, regulatory, internal and insurer requirements.
