Responsibilities
* Managing all aspects of the overall design development process from acquisition through commencement on site including appointing and managing the design team.
* Negotiating all legal notices including S75 etc. and other site-wide strategies as and when required.
* Seek and negotiate any necessary planning amendments, variations or additional consents deriving from changes in production or business strategy as required.
* Manage the process of discharging any and all conditions.
* Manage consultation with councillors, local residents, amenity groups and other statutory bodies, implementing strategies to enhance third-party relationships.
* Manage commercial and financial aspects of schemes.
* Preparation of documentation for third-party funders.
Requirements
* Preferably a Real Estate focused degree.
* Minimum 4 years’ Development Management experience working on a range of projects and values.
* Developer, Principal Contracting experience.
* Wide knowledge of Construction Industry processes and procedures.
* Technical planning knowledge and experience.
* MRICS / MRTPI qualified (Preferred but not essential).
* Must approach problematic situations head-on, be prepared to be a sounding board and able to provide appropriate solutions.
* Strong Interpersonal Skills.
* Confident with negotiating.
* Professional approach.
* Diplomacy and confidentiality.
* Confidence to deal with people at all levels.
