About the role:
We’re looking for a highly commercial Account Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue and exceptional service to our insurer partners and beyond. Through effective prospecting, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver additional revenue from both new and existing relationships.
We’re looking for an experienced account manager who is passionate about building meaningful and productive relationships, with a strong appreciation of identifying and maximising commercial opportunities.
What you'll be doing
* Developing, owning and nurturing partnerships with enterprise level organisations.
* Establishing strong and effective relationships both externally and internally with key stakeholders.
* Identifying business development opportunities through strong account management.
* Quickly understanding partner pain points and working to offer practical solutions for improvement.
* Accountability for the sales business plan, including the delivery of budgeted revenue and meeting sales targets.
* Agreement and maintenance of contractual terms, with negotiations that may involve both internal and external legal representatives.
* Excellent commercial awareness of the sector and ability to construct attractive propositions to win business.
* Understanding market trading conditions, regulations and developments in the industry.
* Reviewing data with an ability to articulate findings.
What we're looking for
Essentials
* Strong B2B account management and business development experience.
* Experience in influencing internal and external stakeholders.
* A proven track record of overachieving commercial goals.
* Strong solution mindset and contractual negotiator.
* Experience of working with and selling data solutions.
* Exceptional communication skills including confident presentation skills.
Desirables:
* Knowledge of the home, motor or van insurance market.
* Insurance pricing.
* Analytical mindset.
