Senior Procurement and SCM Manager (Dedicated Accounts & Central Procurement & SCM)
Boden is partnered with a specialist provider within Facilities Management sector seeking to bolster their supply chain function with an experienced individual. The business is a multinational business and has aggressive expansion plans to become a leader within the FM market.
The opportunity
This role is to be part of our facilities management business that oversees work for leading organisations across the public and private sectors around the world. You will report into UK based central procurement & SCM function. The role is a hybrid working arrangement working arrangement with some travel requirements to Central London HQ.
Our Requirements for the successful candidate
You will need to be an articulate and self-motivated procurement and supply-chain professional with significant subject matter expertise and experience specifically within the Facility Management (FM) arena. Possess stakeholder management and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) skills with the ability to build lasting client & vendor relationships are an essential for the role. A strong supplier network within the facilities marketplace is a strong advantage.
Strong commercial acumen and training or experience in contract law and/or contract formulation is a distinct advantage. You should possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and are proficient in the MS office suite including Power Point, Outlook etc. Experience with PowerBI, sharepoint and procurement platforms is a strong advantage.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic procurement, including sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers, SRM, developing our preferred supplier programme, spend analysis etc.
Leading Procurement tendering/RFX and mobilisation activities.
Lead the Supply chain mobilisation, stabilisation & transformation phases of a new account life cycle.
Commercial strategy & Contract mgt. – Leading tenders/RfX, pricing, benchmarking, savings, contract formation, review & negotiations, change control, CLM, budget control, Scope & Specification efficiencies etc.
Supplier on-boarding via our procurement platform. Liaising with other gateway owners to progress i.e. operations, QHSE and finance teams.
Supporting ethical and sustainable procurement including social value, supplier diversity, tackling modern slavery, etc.
Supply chain governance, risk and compliance
Managing the contract register, supplier directory and Sharepoint portal.
Drafting of procurement and contractual documents.
Monitoring, reviewing and reporting supplier performance statistics.
Maintaining existing templates, workflows and user profiles.
Amending process maps, activity guides and uploading templates as directed by the team.
Working closely with procurement and cross functional teams.
Keeping abreast of best practice and regulations within the industry.
Maintaining a network of contacts within the industry from which supplier information can be gained. What's on offer
