ROLE PURPOSE The Production Test Manager will lead our test team in the development, validation and verification of electronic products. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive electronic test strategies, plans, and procedures. Lead the test team by managing, supporting, and evaluating performance via Lattice. Motivating and developing the team to achieve objectives and targets. Providing structure, direction and purpose. Oversight of all people related management such as absence and performance. Oversee the design and development of test systems, including hardware and software components. Ensure the reliability and accuracy of test results through continuous process improvement. Define production test requirements and validate Pickering’s new products and components. Collaborate with RnD, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve product issues. Monitor and report test performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Manage testing schedules, resources, and budgets to meet both production and development deadlines. Qualifications And Experience Higher level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Key Skills Proven experience in electronic test, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment. Strong knowledge of electronic test methodologies, tools, and equipment. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and IPC. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Understanding of High Voltage test requirement and associated regulation is desirable but not essential.
