School Business Manager / Office Manager
Are you an experienced school Office/Business Manager with a passion for organisation and excellence? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Office/Business Manager to join a primary school we are working with in Great Barr. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overseeing the smooth operation of the school office, including general administrative duties.
2. Managing and maintaining financial systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy in budgeting, invoicing, and reporting.
3. Acting as the first point of contact for staff, parents, and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Supporting the leadership team with administrative and operational tasks to enhance the school's effectiveness.
5. Ensuring compliance with school policies, safeguarding requirements, and health and safety regulations.
Essential Skills & Experience
1. Proven experience in a similar role within a school environment.
2. Proficiency in financial management systems (e.g., SIMS, FMS, or equivalent).
3. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy office environment.
4. Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
5. A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
