During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the Tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potentialThis role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 30 th June 2025.RESPONSIBILITIESIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Assist the Power Systems Business Unit (PSBU) Communications Team in partnership with your peers across the Power Generation, Marine and other Industrial markets, by working in close contact with external partners and internal stakeholders on a global scaleAssist in the development, management, planning and scheduling of content for social media platforms.Assist with the execution of external publication, customer stories, news, and press releasesCreate content and update external website and internal intranet sites. As well as assist with literature, presentation, and display material developmentAssist with the management of online and print advertisingAssist in development and execution of events, including working with third party relationship managementQUALIFICATIONSTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Studying towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business Studies with marketing modulesA motivated self-starter who will be able to engage with people across all levels of the business and be hungry to learnBasic project management skills around time management, stakeholder management, project plan development and quality deliverables.Proficient in writing, editing, and developing content and messaging.
