Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students progress academically Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching or support role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of various SEN conditions and their impact on learning Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN or Special Education Experience working in a mainstream or special needs school Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting Potential travel to student homes or other locations All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
