About this opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you'll recommend ways to improve support for operations by changing policies, processes, standards, and practices. You'll identify and evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions to meet our business needs.
You'll deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated area, using risk management systems to ensure we aren't exposed to undue risks. Conducting research using primary data sources and selecting relevant information will enable you to analyse key themes and trends. You'll also organize and prepare complex documents using multiple computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, while gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
We value continuous improvement, so you'll identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures. With guidance from a project/programme manager, you'll deliver a plan for a small element of a change management programme. Personal development is important to us, and you'll have the opportunity to grow your own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities.
In this role, you'll provide primary supervision to a team performing transactional work or supervise a small group performing junior professional tasks. You'll set medium-term objectives and take responsibility for implementing a team's performance management systems with guidance from senior colleagues. You'll define, deliver, and adapt specialized products/services to meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems. Supporting others by using agile methodologies and practices will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you'll highlight shortcomings and suggest improvements in current IT Security processes, systems, and procedures within your assigned business area.
