Stamford School has an opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to supervise our Cleaning function around the School site.
The core purpose of this role is to be responsible for the supervision of the cleaning function and staff throughout the SES estate and ensure that cleaning is delivered to the highest standards. The successful candidate will assist and contribute in the development and training of staff so that they are kept fully aware of new cleaning techniques and standards.
This is a full time role with 40 working hours per week (20 hours cleaning and 20 hours supervision). These hours will be worked across Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends for events. This role attracts an annual salary of £26,572.
Desired Criteria
* H&S Qualification.
* BICSc Cleaning Qualification or equivalent.
* COSHH qualification.
* Working in a school or education environment.
* Previous experience in a cleaning environment at a senior level.
Essential Criteria
* Experience working on a large and diverse estate.
* Previous experience of supervising a team.
* The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures.
* Knowledge and experience in current cleaning standards and methods.
* Be able to deliver on site training to staff including the delivery of COSHH training and modern cleaning techniques.
* Be able to travel into work at unsocial times, due to operational need, including being flexible to vary hours of work as required.
