We're looking for an outgoing, dependable, welcoming Hotel Receptionist to deliver great customer service during the night. We're building our team and need a part-time Hotel Receptionist (Nights) (officially known as Guest Service Assistants), working 16 hours a week, in return for a salary of £12.45 per hour and great benefits including a day off for your birthday, discounts at hotels and opportunities for career progression. Personality and potential are top of our hiring wish list, but experience in a customer-facing hospitality job would be a big benefit. Experience working nights would also be a great advantage. We need someone who is open, welcoming and who know what great customer service looks like - the kind of person you'd want looking after you when you're up with the kids to catch a red-eye flight You'll be checking guests in and out, answering questions and supporting them during your stay. A great telephone manner is essential and you'll need to be confident using a computer as you might be running some reports. As we're one big team, you can also expect to be pulling the odd pint, taking some food orders, checking the security of the hotel and turning your hand to whatever's needed to ensure our guests have a great stay. Continental breakfast starts from 4am at our airport hotel, so you can expect to be involved in setting that up too. You'll be working 16 hours a week, which could including a mix of midweek and weekend shifts. As you'll be serving alcohol, we do require applicants to be 18 years of age or older. ibis Styles Gatwick Airport hotel has over 180 bedrooms and welcomes international guests, business travellers, airline crew, families and people heading off on holiday so it is a bustling and vibrant hotel.
