Dairy Operative – Vessel Washing

About the Role
As a Dairy Operative at Alston Dairy, you may betrained to work in various areas of the business, however there will be a specific
focus on tasks within our Vessel Washing Area. We are an ambitious company with big plans and are looking for people who can grow
with us.
We are actively looking for hardworking and reliable individuals who are eager to make a positive contribution to our fantastic
team within the Yogurt Manufacturing facility.
What will I be doing?
The role will have a primary focus on operating within our Vessel Washing Room but as a Dairy Operative, opportunity may also
arise to learn other aspects of the business.
* Comply with our high standards of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
* Show a commitment to Product Quality and Quality Control processes and procedures.
* Contribute to the completion of documentational requirements for traceability.
* Operate a range of different equipment and machinery, in particular our Vessel Washing and Milk Tank Washing
Equipment/Machinery.
* Effective cleaning of equipment, tooling and work environment.
* Lift, handle, and process products as required including the movement and loading of Vessel for Washing.
* Show flexibility and be able to operate in both High and Low care environments as required.
A Few Things About You
No experience is required, however it would be advantageous if applicants have prior experience working within a fast paced Food
Manufacturing environment.
Whilst prior experience is not essential, we are looking for hardworking, reliable and positive individuals who are eager to
learn.
