The Advice Zone provides an efficient and professional first point of contact to students via an Enquiry Management System, telephone, email or face to face at each of the University campus sites.
Advice Zone Assistants deal with confidential information and should at all times remain professional and use excellent judgement to know when to refer to specialist advice and support services. Working as an efficient and flexible team, Advice Zone Assistants also need to be able to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
Advice Zone Assistants are passionate about making a difference to the student experience through providing excellent customer service.
There will be a requirement to work flexibly at all campus sites to ensure that the service is staffed appropriately during advertised opening hours. It is anticipated however that most campus days will be scheduled on the Cardiff campus.
This is a full time, fixed term post until 04th April 2025
