Our client is an industrial rental company based in Castleford who require an experienced Desk Controller to join their team. The internal team in Castleford is a small team of hire desk controllers, whereas the overarching company spans the UK. This team has longevity with staff retention and they have a good name in the industry with clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage the smooth running of Key Accounts and General Orders.
* Ensure all on/off hire orders are taken in detail and processed correctly.
* Create, input and ensure accuracy of orders onto the company system to minimise account queries and potential credits.
* Produce and maintain a manual complete contract file, containing all relevant paperwork including signed delivery and collection notes.
* Advise Transport Department of any necessary movements in a timely manner.
* Ensure relevant spreadsheets (as applicable) are updated daily/weekly.
* Ability to communicate with different departments effectively.
* Build rapport with clients and internal departments.
* Own queries and see them through to the end.
