Permanent - Full Time (36.25 hours per week) Here at Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, we have a unique opportunity to join us as a Business Architect someone to lead the design and architecture team within the Business Improvement function and play a pivotal rolein ensuring that all business change initiatives are strategically aligned, well-designed and effectively implemented. You will act as a bridge betweenthe organisations strategic objectives and the solutions developed to support them, ensuring that all projects and changes fit within the overall business architecture as well as leading efforts to assess the impact of change on existing systems, processes, and structures. Key Areas of Work: Strategic business understanding - Gain a deep understanding of the organisations business processes, strategic objectives and key challenges and work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure that business changes support the organisations overarching strategies. Gathering and translating business requirements - Oversee the process of gathering, documenting and analysing business requirements and collaborate with the Business Analysts to translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans for projects Input into solution design - Shape and influence the design of solutions to ensure they are in alignment with the existing business architecture and future strategy. Review and approve design outputs - Act as custodian of the business architecture, reviewing and approving design outputs from projects and oversee the quality assurance process for business design documentation. Impact assessment of change -Lead efforts to assess the impact of business changes on existing systems, processes, and organisational structure. Who are we looking for? Educated to degree level or can evidence equivalent experience in a change / business improvement / project management related role. Hold business architecture qualification or certification. Strong expertise in business architecture principles, including how to align business strategies with the design of processes, systems and solutions. Experience using business architecture frameworks such as TOGAF. Experience in working with technical and IT teams to influence solution design. Skilled in overseeing and conducting detailed business analysis. Strong understanding of governance frameworks. Strong analytical skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues in the business design process, you will have proven experience in leading and developing a team of Business Analysts, ensuring high-quality outputs and consistent methodologies. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you will have strong strategic thinking skills with excellent collaboration and communication skills. What's in it for you?
