Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to undertake the role of a Band 3 Admin Officer, based within the Patient Services Department at Glan Irfon Health and Care Centre, Builth Wells. The post holder will require excellent communication skills, have a positive and flexible approach to the needs of the service, be motivated, ready for the next challenge and enjoy working as part of a very busy team. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide administrative support within the Patient Services Department, managing waiting lists, booking and sending out appointments for clinics, marking patients as attending / non-attending and undertake audio typing for specialist clinics and consultants. The post holder will also provide a range of clerical and secretarial services as directed, provide support and cross cover within the department. Knowledge of WPAS and previous audio typing experience is desirable.
