About the Role:
As a Bank General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our care home by taking on a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen assistance, hosting, and reception cover. Your versatility and willingness to contribute to different areas of our home will be essential in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our residents.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in residents' rooms, communal areas, and facilities to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all.
2. Kitchen Assistance: Support our kitchen team in food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen space. This may involve dishwashing, table clearing, and adhering to food safety guidelines.
3. Host/Hostess: Deliver high standards of hospitality services and dining experiences, greeting residents and visitors with warmth and professionalism. Prioritise customer service while supporting residents' enablement.
4. Reception Cover: Manage incoming calls, direct callers appropriately, and assist with inquiries at the reception desk. Provide excellent customer service to guests and residents while maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
5. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
6. Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, team members, and visitors.
8. Friendly and approachable demeanour, with genuine empathy for residents.
9. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.
