Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers we are looking to develop our central Sustainability Division, which provides world class support to our biggest accounts across UK&I plus supporting in internal Sustainability and Environmental best practice.
With a strong team already in place and some progress already made towards medium and long term Net Zero goals, we are looking for a Net Zero Delivery Lead to Deliver progress Net Zero progress across all Scopes, working to scale within a company that employs north of 35,000 staff in the UK and circa 350,000 globally.
Please note, while this role is UK only, the UK Division will have some interaction with wider ISS Group
Leveraging buy in from an array of senior stakeholders you will advance the Net Zero Strategy and turn the plan into practical, discernible action that will have a tangible result across the full organisation, focusing in internal functions from IT, to P&C, Payroll, Procurement etc
Reporting directly into the Sustainability Director and line managing a small team of passionate Sustainability professionals this is a fantastic role where you will be empowered to deliver Net Zero work within a truly major market leader in the built environment space
Actions will include:
* Develop and lead the implementation of Iplus, K&I net-zero strategy, ensuring alignment with group/global, customer and wider stakeholder climate goals.
* Accountable for the measurement, tracking, and reporting of the company’s GHG/carbon footprint, ensuring transparency and compliance with regulatory requirement
* Develop and lead the implementation of publicly reported Transition Plan (UKI) and Carbon Reduction Plans (subsidies) to enable the delivery of Net-Zero and related targets
* Working across a range of internal and external stakeholders ensure the delivery of ISS UK&I NetZero targets inline with the to be developed (as part of role) timeline, programme plan and UKI transition plan
* Drive the policies, processes and standards across business stakeholders e.g. Procurement, People & Culture, Risk etc that enable / deliver the transition to a low-carbon (and circular) economy.
* Assess and manage climate-related risks and opportunities, integrating them into the company's overall risk management framework
* Develop and lead the implementation of contract level GHG/Carbon reporting to deliver increasingly accurate Scope 3.1 reports for customers,
* Support with creation and implementation standardised processes to support delivery of multiple projects in multiple parts of the ISS UK&I enterprise; plus co-ordination with the wider group

* Clear experience in practical delivery of Net Zero strategy across a major, corporate organisation and excellent, developed abilities in stakeholder management
