A fabulous three-day housekeeping/cleaning position has become available, for an experienced person to look after a friendly family of four, including a little girl aged eight and her brother aged three.
The family live in a beautiful contemporary home in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire. The 7000 sq ft house has six bedrooms over three floors and a large garden. The family are tidy and like to keep their home to a high standard, so someone who shares these values is essential.
The hours will be 08.30-12.30, three days to be mutually agreed (12 hours/week).
The responsibilities of the role will include:
• Tidying, organising and cleaning the home to a high standard, with attention to detail and care
• Family laundry – including bedding and clothes (carefully taking into account washing labels)
• Ironing
• Bed changing
• Wardrobe management
• Occasional grocery shopping / putting away / re-stocking
Although the children have a nanny, it would be advantageous if you have a love of children. You will be working alongside the parents and the nanny each day, so a team player is essential.
This professional and welcoming family is looking for an all-rounder – someone organised, diligent, calm, honest and trustworthy, as well as pleasant to have around. You will need to be a good communicator, a self-starter and confident in taking the lead – just getting on with what needs to be done – using initiative is important to keep the home running like clockwork.
You should be trustworthy and discreet with respect for privacy and confidentiality.
