About the role
In this job you'll play an important part in the welfare and wellbeing of our laboratory animals. If you have an affinity with animals and an interest in working for a world-leading research organisation, this could be a very rewarding job for you.
Thinks you'll be doing include:
• Carrying out the daily cleaning and maintenance of laboratory animals
• Developing and maintaining an understanding of cage/animal bio-security
• Operating the mechanical cleaning of cages/tanks
• Accurately maintaining records within UCL’s animal management system;
• Handling deliveries of goods to the Facility

About you
Things you'll need for this job include:
-A minimum of 5 A*-C grade GCSEs
-Experience in animal husbandry
-An interest in animal care and welfare
-Commitment to further education related to this position
-Ability to communicate effectively
-An ability to work effectively within a group
-Computer literacy
