Job Description Overview of Business We are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading 5 housebuilders to recruit an Managing Director for their West Scotland region. Job description The role is to lead the Directors to deliver unit targets. Role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the divisional Directors across all disciplines Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. Quality Control: Ensure all projects meet the company's quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and building codes. Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and optimise cost-efficiency. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all construction activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to maintain strong relationships and ensure project success. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational activities and identify areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative solutions in construction operations Essential experience The successful candidate will have experience working at Director and Board level within a business that operates in the residential market.
