We are looking for a part-time Practice Education Facilitators (PEF) to work with our community nursing teams to support Health Care Support Workers, pre-registration nursing students and student Nursing Associates.
You willwork to create a positive learning environment where staff development is encouraged and supported. Working closely with Education Leads, Service Managers and Clinical Leads to support induction, competence development & CPD .
You will use your clinical expertise to deliver the Care Certificate & practice education, & to promote high standards of care. You will work with the Universities & partner Trusts, undertaking a role in practice development to support service improvement & quality of care.
You will assist the Education Leads to audit practice & disseminate information on educational and practice developments; and also support the Trust Preceptorship Programme.

Be a highly visible clinical role model, working alongside staff in clinical practice, supporting the new starters and students and their supervisor’s/assessors.
• • Work with managers and supervisors to establish mechanisms for enhancing, developing and assessing the quality of placement learning.
• Deliver local induction to learners
• Provide support and deliver training to supervisors/assessors.
• Deliver work-based learning and informal teaching/facilitation for Student Nursing Associates
• Work alongside the Education Leads to provide support to students and supervisors/assessors in practice for nursing and allied health professionals.
• Support staff members to meet the requirements for apprenticeship programmes
• Assist in maintaining the practice learning environment as an effective placement for learners to meet the competencies required of them and meets the required standards
