IT Procurement & Supplier Relationship Manager – Global Technology Firm
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + package
Location: Hertfordshire (twice per month, home-based otherwise)
This leading global technology firm is continuing to grow, with ongoing investment into its high-performing procurement function. As part of a strategic restructure, they are now looking for an experienced procurement professional to take ownership of key supplier relationships and drive commercial value across the business.
This role sits within the wider procurement team and focuses on managing and developing relationships with key strategic partners and cross-business suppliers. These suppliers provide products and services that span multiple areas of the organisation, including ITSM, CRM, AI, and data hosting. You will be responsible for ensuring that the right suppliers are in place, negotiating the best commercial and contractual terms, and optimising supplier relationships to support the firm’s overall business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the procurement strategy for key strategic suppliers, ensuring commercial arrangements maximise value and mitigate risk.
* Work closely with senior stakeholders and practice leads to align procurement with business goals and support technology-driven initiatives.
* Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, cost savings, and efficiency improvements across the supplier base.
* Oversee supplier selection and appointment through robust sourcing processes, including eSourcing tools where relevant.
* Ensure contracts are fit for purpose, supporting client needs and business priorities while maintaining compliance with procurement policies.
* Act as a key point of contact for supplier-related escalations, ensuring strong governance and risk management across supplier relationships.
* Work collaboratively with teams across Commercial, Legal, Data Protection, and Security to drive best-in-class procurement outcomes.
* Support procurement’s role in client bids and strategic propositions by ensuring supplier relationships are commercially sound and competitive.
