£12.85 - £15.00 Per hour
The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering lessons, providing one-to-one assistance to students, preparing classroom materials, and maintaining a positive learning environment. They may also assist with grading assignments, supervising students during breaks, and communicating with parents regarding student progress.
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) is required.
Previous experience in a teaching assistant role is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is preferred.
Good communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Basic knowledge of educational principles and practises.
Certificate or Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (QCF).
The role may involve standing for extended periods, assisting students with physical tasks, and working in a busy classroom environment. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate school schedules and events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
