The Specialist Advice and Support Services (SASS) division provide four core functions:
* Clinical advice and support.
* Direct assessment, treatment and intervention.
* Education training and workforce development.
* Support of advanced care planning and end of life care.
As a group of Specialist Services, we work closely with other health providers such as Primary Care, Acute Hospitals, & Ambulance service as well as other services within Sirona such as the Integrated Network Teams (INTs). We have a strong focus on collaborative working to enable knowledge and skill development to improve patient health needs and outcomes.
The specialist services work as role models and an expert resource to ensure that health care professionals within and outside the organisation have access to the right knowledge, skills and resources so that evidence based care is embedded as a fundamental tenet across all pathways.
Our Service hours are 0800-1830 seven days a week (this role is Monday -Friday).
The role is initially based at New Friends Hall, Heath House Lane, Stapleton, Bristol, with the post holder expected to travel to other bases when required. A service review is expected in 2025/26 which will align the post holder with specific services which could mean a change of base within Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Service Managers and Clinical and Operational leads, you will provide:
1. Project management support in service redesign and ongoing development of Specialist Services.
2. Robust co-ordination across key areas of work within Specialist Services.
3. Practical administrative and project support.
4. Development and collation of data for reporting requirements, surveys and audits relevant to the services you support.
5. Collation and reporting of all quality assurance data and key performance indicators required.
6. Leading and maintaining improvements in delivery, productivity and efficiency of administrative resource in the Specialist Services.
7. Building and maintaining key links with the Performance and Project Management Teams.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent level qualification.
* Significant practical demonstrable experience in a wide range of relevant administrative procedures and computer software.
Skills and Abilities:
* Range of advanced administration and IT skills including electronic communication, creation of templates, reports, excel and databases; numeracy skills.
* Able to motivate, lead, support and develop others.
* Able to prioritise time and tasks for self and a team.
* Using initiative, analysis and judgement to solve problems independently.
* Collating and producing data/information in a reader-friendly way.
* Knowledge of how to line manage, train/mentor, develop and coach others effectively.
