Job title: IM&T Project Manager

Salary: £41,361+ depending on skills and experience.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Liaising with Programme management, customer, IT Suppliers and project teams.
2. Managing the engagement of solutions to a given business need and the optimisation of solution cost vs benefit.
3. Work alongside and liaise with the Group IM&T partners and suppliers and related BAE Systems IT Services managing those relationships effectively.
4. Ensuring the project is compliant with IM&T Policies.
5. Determining and utilising IT Project Management Methodologies based on the context of the project.
6. Planning, managing and monitoring the production of the required deliverables throughout the project.
7. Managing project risks including the development of contingency plans.
8. With support, defines, documents and executes small low complex projects or sub-projects.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
1. Knowledge and understanding of IT and Infrastructure.
2. Good communication and stakeholder management.
Desirable:
1. Scrum or Agile Methodology Experience.
2. Project Management qualifications such as Prince2, APM or equivalent.

The Engineering Systems Competency Centre team:
The ESCC team is responsible for the development and maintenance of critical engineering applications, ensuring that tools such as CATIA, CAD, and PLM systems remain within obsolescence boundaries while operating on green and yellow link networks. The team plays a key role in application-based IT projects, supporting the engineering community with robust and innovative solutions.
