Job Description
We are collaborating with a leading national contractor on a major new scheme in Oxfordshire, which will serve as an opportunity to gain experience before working on various projects across the Reading and Oxford areas.
The project involves a £55 million new build office scheme featuring high-spec fit out.
The site is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by late 2025, allowing you to join now and take charge of procuring the final major packages. You will then oversee the scheme from a commercial perspective.
Your role will involve working closely with design and delivery teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery for a client who may have two or three more schemes to follow up on through negotiated agreements. You will collaborate with and manage Project and Assistant-level QSs on-site and assume responsibility for monitoring the commercial health of the projects, including managing subcontract packages, procurement of materials and equipment, remeasurement, valuations, payments, variation account management, forecasting, and CVR's.
The organization offers excellent compensation and benefits for suitable candidates and has established a regional hub in Reading, securing a pipeline of work extending through 2029 on framework and two-stage negotiated schemes. If you are seeking a challenging position that allows you to implement your ideas and manage large, complex projects, this could be an ideal opportunity.
