We are recruiting a Housing Support Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours:37 Hours
Contract Type: Full Time/Fixed Term for 24 Months
Location: Ty Penallta - Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Housing Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £26,421 - £28,770 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join Caerphilly Homes in our Housing Solutions Team as a support worker.
The role will be based in the Local Authorities Caerphilly Keys team. You will be working with the existing private rented scheme (PRS) Caerphilly Keys and will also be supporting contract holders who are offered properties under the PRS scheme when the authority launches the Welsh Government initiative.
You will be supporting households who have experienced homelessness and be working in a dynamic and front line team.
For the role, we ask that you have:
5 GCSEs Grades A*-C or equivalent. Or relevant Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework.
An understanding of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014 and the legislation in respect of homelessness.
A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit clients at their home.
