Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-level professional expertise in the Transport Development Management team
* Offering technical advice and experience to support the team's Development Control work programme
* Performing planning application transport assessments, occasionally including site visits
* Collaborating with officers in planning, highways, structures, regeneration, housing, and other relevant departments
* Managing the impact of Planning Applications on the public highway efficiently
* Working one day a week in the office, preferably on Tuesdays, with some flexibility
Job Requirements:
* Extensive experience in the transportation sector
* Proficiency in transport planning and assessment
* Strong technical skills and professional expertise in transport development
* Ability to provide detailed and accurate technical advice
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
