What You’ll Do We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team in Newbury. You will be responsible for E2E design across our IT ecosystem at Vodafone UK. You will be delivering and assuring technical architecture artefacts for projects, whilst steering and talking with stakeholders across the organisation to define technology change You will act as the functional and technical expert for applications or a portfolio of related applications You will manage and support other Solutions Architects to deliver the designs for a portfolio You will be working across key projects & programmes to design and deliver technology solutions with a clear view on strategic and tactical technology choices You will provide technology governance to ensure that solutions are aligned to the IT and business strategies You will be assisting in delivering technical solutions that provide business advantage to Vodafone through effective right time, right cost, and right solution design Who You Are You will ideally have a proven track record in an Architecture role with experience in at least one of the following: Digital, Order Management, Provisioning, Billing, Security, Integration, & B2B You will have led architecture projects in specific subject areas such as billing & have experience of other areas such as order management You will proactively identify capability gaps in specialist areas You will proactively look for change to identify areas of impact, highlight options, and make recommendations to give the best overall solution. You will feel comfortable building relationships with stakeholders agreeing the correct course of action for specific projects or capability gaps You’ll have an appreciation for understanding the business strategy and translates to technical strategy Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
