Its sister company, Metro Plumb, operates more than 30 local depots, addressing a range of plumbing issues from emergency repairs to routine maintenance. Together, they offer a one-stop shop, supported by a network of over 600 engineers specialising in drainage, plumbing, pumps, and FOG management.
As our PPM Project Lead, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimising planned and remedial maintenance contracts compliantly across a variety of customers and the wider business. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring we deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards for our clients and Franchisees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance Management: Develop and execute a planned preventive maintenance regime, including associated remedial works, ensuring full compliance with contract requirements.
* Scheduling of maintenance program in a timely manner.
* Collating compliant documentation for upload to client portals.
* Performance Oversight: Manage and report on PPM and remedial works, adhering to contract specifications and KPIs.
* Team Leadership: Oversee multi-discipline facilities management work schemes, holding regular performance reviews with a variety of both in-house and external Stakeholders.
* Asset Management: Monitor asset performance and condition ratings, updating asset information to meet both contract and our company standards.
* Lifecycle Planning: Support the creation of lifecycle programmes to enhance asset longevity and performance.
* Client Relations: Represent the business professionally, liaising with client management and site representatives, and managing client-focused activities.
* Reporting & Compliance: Prepare KPI and operational reports for internal, supply chain, and client meetings, and ensure adherence to QA procedures and our Health and Safety policy.
* Auditing: Conduct desktop audits for planned and reactive maintenance and hold regular review meetings with clients regarding contract performance.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled maintenance project person with a technical background and a passion for excellence. You will oversee and manage the pre-planned maintenance (PPM) activities for a small number of high-profile clients with a view to growing the portfolio over time. You will do this by delivering exceptional customer KPI’s compliantly in collaboration with our expanding franchise network. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all maintenance operations, in relation to Drainage, Plumbing, Pump and Gas required are performed in compliance with UK regulations and industry standards.
Essential Criteria:
* Previous experience in a compliance or project role within a similar environment.
* Proven success in a similar facilities management role with at least three years of experience.
* Experience using CRM’s, client portals or CAFM systems.
* Proven experience managing internal and external Stakeholder relationships.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Clean driving license.
Desirable Criteria:
* Knowledge of UK maintenance and safety regulations, particularly in relation to gas safety (Gas Safe), drainage maintenance, and plumbing inspections.
* Strong understanding of the regulatory frameworks for gas, drainage, plumbing, and related maintenance activities.
* Experience with bespoke CAFM or business management software.
