This company is a well-known manufacturer in the local area looking to bring on enthusiastic, innovative, and motivated people to join their growing business. They are a leading employer in the South Wales area and offer excellent internal training programmes with an extremely low staff turnover.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Support the wider specification and commercial teams, and external stakeholders in providing specific product and systems knowledge support to promote product and brand awareness.
* Contribute technical expertise to working and developing project opportunities with the team and clients, providing technical and design support.
* Communicate at all levels from architects to contractors and discuss the technical aspects of the product portfolio with prospective and established customers.
* Handle emails and other communications from internal and external customers: predominantly architects, main contractors, interiors sub-contractors, acousticians, and distributors, including Microsoft Teams and in-person meetings (onsite and off-site).
* Work closely with customer service, the specification team, and commercial teams in developing and supporting the UK & Ireland technical offering to customers, including installation advice, creation & provision of details and drawings, and working with installers and customers to secure project specifications and orders.
* Create, update, and issue technical drawings and sketches of standard product details and bespoke solutions.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Minimum two years' experience in the construction industry, preferably in a technical or solutions-based role.
* CAD literate with experience of AutoCAD, with the ability to create and modify AutoCAD drawings.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to clearly and efficiently explain product systems and solutions.
* Architectural or Engineering background in construction/the built environment.
* Basic 3D drawing experience using software such as Revit and SketchUp.
