Supply Chain Planner
Location: Peterborough
Start date: ASAP
Assignment duration: 12 months initially
Working hours are Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours per day between 8 AM and 6 PM.
This is a hybrid role, starting with 3 days per week in the office and later on 2 days per week in the office.

Job Summary:
To plan and maintain daily Supply Chain operations in one or more functional areas such as materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management, or order fulfillment. Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met. You will be trained in the use of MRP systems (Material Requirement Planning systems); no prior experience in this is required. Once proficient and after completing some training, you will work with external suppliers, internal stakeholders, and distribution centers in the region to plan inbound and outbound materials as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop planning system strategies to improve signals across the supply chain and monitor and adjust parameters in the planning system.
2. Use common processes, tools, and information systems.
3. Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans.
4. Execute the daily operational planning process within a specified functional area.
5. Identify potential supply chain failures as part of the planning process and mitigate associated risks.
6. Work closely with stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop short-term tactical improvements.
7. Use the planning system to drive consistent planning signals across the supply chain and participate in functional process improvement teams.
