JHE and Partners are delighted to be working with a growing business in Halifax who are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Credit Controller on a temporary basis with immediate start The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments are received. Prepare and send out invoices, statements, and reminders for overdue accounts. Liaise with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and disputes. Maintain accurate records of all communications with customers regarding their accounts. Conduct credit checks on new customers to assess risk levels. Collaborate with the sales team to manage customer credit limits effectively. Generate reports on aged debtors and present findings to management. Assist in the reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable as needed. Experience Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role is essential. Familiarity with accounting software Strong understanding of financial principles and practices related to credit management. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
